Pincode Options to Control Costs and Generate Revenue :
With additional pincode options the webXaccelerator offers full control over user access to satellite links. Users are provided
access pincodes that restrict their consumption of bandwidth in several ways :
- Time or data based pincodes control internet access
- Peak/Off-Peak time slots can be chosen for pincode usage
- Per user bandwidth limitation (e.g. 64 kps up/down)
- Pincodes can be locked to a specific unit
- Real time status information for users
- Detailed activity logs by pincode number
Pincode Rules :
- Timed-based pincodes can store 1 to 24hrs use time
- Data-based pincodes can store 1 to 100 Mb data transfer
- Pincodes may be activated within 24 months from date of issue
- Activated pincodes are valid for 12 months
Pincode sales to satellite end users, such as passengers and crew, can generate on ongoing revenue stream. Pincodes can be
conveniently purchased at any time and e-mailed directly to the end user. Resellers also have the option of customizing the captive portal login page
with a link to their shopping cart for immediate and convenient end user sales...in real time.
